ThatStupidComputer (operated by Joseph W. Anady, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business) respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.

What we collect

• Contact information you submit via forms: name, email, phone, business name, project details.
• Analytics data collected via Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity: anonymized page views, session durations, click paths, device types, approximate geolocation.
• Server logs on our Bubbles server: IP address, user agent, request URL, response code, referrer. Retained for 30 days.
• Cookies for essential functionality and analytics. You can opt out via the cookie banner.

How we use it

• To respond to inquiries and deliver services you request.
• To understand how visitors use the site and improve it.
• To diagnose technical issues.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except as required to deliver services (for example Google Analytics, Stripe, email providers) or as required by law.

Your rights

• Access: request a copy of data we hold about you.
• Correction: request corrections to inaccurate data.
• Deletion: request deletion of your data.
• Opt-out: unsubscribe from email communications at any time.

Third-party services

• Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager for analytics.
• Microsoft Clarity for session recordings and heatmaps.
• Google Fonts for typography (served from fonts.gstatic.com).
• Cloudflare for DNS and optional CDN.
• Stripe or Square for payment processing where applicable.

Security

All traffic to this site is encrypted via TLS 1.2 or higher. Server hardening includes HSTS preload, restricted TLS cipher suites, strict Content Security Policy, and regular security audits. Our infrastructure is operated by a practitioner with a Master of Arts in Cybersecurity.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on this page and, where appropriate, via email.
