Static HTML/CSS
Hand-built. No WordPress. No Wix. No template that breaks when you sneeze. Loads in under 1.5 seconds on rural 4G.
- Hand-written HTML5 + CSS3
- Vanilla JS only where it earns its weight
- No CMS bloat, no plugin shop
Six layers, named. We pick boring, fast, paid-for tools that have been around for ten years. Then we keep them tuned.
The That Stupid Computer technology stack is intentionally boring, fast, and hand-coded. No WordPress, no Wix, no template builders. Sites are HTML5, CSS3, and vanilla JavaScript, hosted on our own Debian/nginx server (Bubbles) behind Cloudflare's free CDN and SSL. Forms route through Twilio (SMS) and ConvertKit (email). Reporting runs on GA4 and Looker Studio. Every layer is owned outright by the client at go-live.
Hand-built. No WordPress. No Wix. No template that breaks when you sneeze. Loads in under 1.5 seconds on rural 4G.
Sites run on our own server (nicknamed "Bubbles") in our network, with Cloudflare in front. Free SSL, DDoS protection, global CDN.
JSON-LD on every page (Organization, Service, Person, FAQ, BreadcrumbList). Google Business Profile fully wired. 60-directory NAP campaign.
The new SEO. We publish llms.txt, ai.txt, brand.json, and aeo.json so AI engines can answer questions about your shop accurately.
Form submissions hit your phone in 30 seconds, not your email at end of day. Twilio for SMS. ConvertKit (or Mailchimp) for email sequences.
You don't see the dashboard. You see a 4-page PDF. We see the dashboard so you don't have to. Plain-English summary every month.
If you're paying $1,800/mo for a "WordPress" site that breaks when the plugin updates, you're paying for the wrong stack.
